Dubai-based developer Binghatti has announced a major land acquisition in Nad Al Sheba 1, within the prestigious Meydan district — the former site of the historic Nad Al Sheba Racecourse and the iconic Dubai World Cup. Spanning an impressive 8 million square feet of gross floor area, the plot will be the foundation for Binghatti’s first-ever large-scale master-planned residential community in Dubai.
Although the purchase price remains confidential, Binghatti confirmed the acquisition was entirely self-financed, underscoring the company's solid financial standing. Speaking on the milestone, Muhammad Binghatti, Chairman of Binghatti Holding, said:
Acquiring this mega plot for our first master-planned development is a pivotal milestone in our company’s growth. This transformative project will leverage our vertically integrated business model, which consistently delivers high-quality, distinctive developments ahead of schedule.â€
He added, “Our strong financial foundation has enabled us to self-fund this acquisition, positioning us to create a dynamic community that will redefine integrated living in Dubai. â€Expanding Dubai Presence Binghatti is currently developing approximately 20,000 residential units across 30 projects in key areas such as Downtown Dubai and Business Bay. The company has made headlines for its ultra-luxury branded residences in collaboration with global names like Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz, and Jacob & Co.
Its portfolio of celebrity clients includes global figures such as football legend Neymar Jr. and renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli. This strategic land acquisition marks a new chapter in Binghatti’s journey as the developer aims to shape the future of Dubai’s residential landscape with visionary, community-driven mega-developments.
